Reventon stock club race/S ?

Whats the difference between the reventon stock club race esc and the Reventon S esc......I can seem to see any apart from the S can be used for drifting??

The Stock club race is set in blinky only whereas the 'S' had select-able firmware profiles so you can chose between blinky or mod or stock or drift etc. Depends of what you want to use it for really, if its blinky only racing then the stock club esc is fine but the 'S' is a little more versatile.

Hi Thanks,
Do you know what the S firmware is as standard?

I dont sorry, I dont have one myself although I have been looking at the Reventon range. The 'R' looks looks good for the price they are selling for, higher amp rating at 70a and all the boost settings that you get on the 'Pro'. I have a couple of GT2.0's in some of my cars and cant really fault them, just looking at the Reventon R for my Supastox.

I have the Reventon Club Stock Race. I hooked the ESC to my PC and it came up as a Reventon S. I was on Version 19 firmware, but when I updated the firmware, my only choices were all the Reventon S firmware version 21. I loaded the Mod 0 firmware. Now I can do all programming that the S version can do, to include reverse!
if you update your firmware, make sure you reset the transmitter to the ESC (neutral, forward and reverse).

reventon S does not appear to have hybrid turbo/boost option maximum advance is 27.5 degrees which is a bit limiting unless you have a aadjustable timing motor too

(unless I just cant find it using lcd programmer which is completely possible)
