Cragg and Lowe take wins at Worksop RD2
Sunday the 19th October 2008 saw the second round of the Schumacher Indoor Off Road Masters series held at the fantastic Worksop venue. With an expanded entry of 150 drivers split between 2WD and 4WD classes - it was even more hotly contested than the previous round. http://www.oople.com/rc/photos/misc/news/wrkrd201.jpgDanny McGee took the TQ in 2WD with the Losi XXXCR but after a tough and intense battle it was Neil Cragg that managed to take the win. Previous round winner Tom Yardy came in second and local hero James Helliwell third. Four different drivers and four different chassis' each won a round during 4WD qualifying - Simon Moss, Paul Bradby, Richard Lowe and Danny McGee. It was Worksop regular and indoor-specialist Richard Lowe that took overall TQ however. Unlike the exciting 2WD A-final - Richard stamped his authority early and never looked back, leading the race from start to finish with his JConcepts BJ4we to take an impressive win. Grant Williams finished second and Nathan Waters third. Full report and photos coming soon exclusive to oOple.com |

All A finalists used schumacher tyres, available from DMS Racing, other shops are available, they just aren't as good

Yes Lee DMS are good but I have been waiting for my tyres from them for two weeks, It is a problem with the supplier and not them though.
|
I am racing bald tyres out of a bin - FACT. And they are just as fast as new ones!

Looking forward to the report :D |
I can make something like worksop.oople.com Ralph? Have some pages on there with info etc - show latest forum threads etc maybe too.
Also thinking it might be easier for Muzzy to have a form that people can fill in with their details to help speed up registering for an event - nothing crazy, pretty much like the batley supercup type of things that send an email with all the details laid out. just ideas! |
........

Sounds ace !! and one for 'new projects' too
|
All right Ralph, we heard you the first time :woot:
