Hi All,

Please could you help me with trying to find a pair of 14mm wheel hex's part number U1408Z to fit a cougar 2000.

Your help with this would be very much appreciated.

I can’t but could someone 3D-print one if necessary

Pre 2017 Xray hexes were 14mm - would they do the job?

Spils77 02-12-2019 03:21 PM

I am not sure if the Xray ones will fit. There are a few options for 14mm hex but from what I have heard people have not had much luck fitting them to the Schumacher cars. I think it messes up the offset of the wheel by all accounts.

I am hoping and praying I can source some genuine parts as this one is going to be a shelfer with maybe a few non competitive carpet runs as I like to use the cars.

schumacher hexes are a taper fit on shaft so I don't think any think else will fit
I'll look in our spares see what we can find

do you know correct thickness of originals so I can be sure

If they are the same wheels as the Cat 2000 i'm pretty sure I bought some off Schumacher's website, alternatively take a look at Wheelspin models or Schumie spares

Hi Dave

Please see the attached pictures I have showing the thickness of the wheel hex. I have taken two measurements as there is a raised edge in the centre, on the reverse side of the hex.

Your help is very much appreciated.
Regards
Andy.

Hi Lofty

They are the same as the cat 2000. I have tried everywhere to try and find some including the sites you have mentioned in your reply but to no avail. I saw some on ebay a few months back but lost out in a bidding war
