mg995 servos any good?
 
hi guys as title want to know if there any good basicly any1 use them or heard awt about them.

any info be great cheers

It's a cheap servo for a reason.

Plus points.
Strong, metal gears
Cheap

Negative points
Slower than advertised on the specification (IMO)
Overshoots neutral by some distance before returning.

It may be OK for bashing, but used as a steering or throttle servo under race conditions, it'll drive you mad.

cheers fela bought 2 got em for a fiver each so,noticed the speed takes about .30seconds rather than the .12seconds as stated! not guna be using them there just for spares if mine brakes as i run a savox in my tc,noticed there really heavy too but cant complain for a fiver!
