20th Feb 2011

Thanks to the Titchfield commitee for a good fun days racing, some good banter and good clean racing.

wylie 20-02-2011 10:34 PM

Nice to see you racing Chris, hopefully you'll have one of those Durango's ready for the next meet after Clanfield.

mikeyscott 21-02-2011 08:22 AM

Thanks Chris

Also thanks to the guys who took the load of Steve, Julian and myself today :)

Enabled us to wrench the cars trackside for once.

So it's going to be a Durango gathering at this rate..... Who else is getting a Durango?? (I might have my spare 410R up for sale) If not give Simon a call at RCLazy

Will every one stop tempting me, my wallet can't take it!

Great day once again, good banter and no breakages to the Rat once more.

wylie 21-02-2011 12:27 PM

You know you want to ;)

Nice Rango etc etc. Mix it with the other 1/8th boys and maybe a few of us other 1/10th boys bringing up the rear.

Another one to take up the SteveB challenge for 2011 - i.e. beat him...

Over 2010 I think he was beaten three times and is currently unbeaten in 2011 on the meeting overalls.

hotrodchris 21-02-2011 05:12 PM

durango

wylie 21-02-2011 11:54 PM

mikeyscott 22-02-2011 08:55 AM

scratch that, ftp transfer has done something screwy to the results. Not impressed

Links on main site are broken, http://www.torchracing.org.uk/result...tg59/heats.htm

MrMagoo 22-02-2011 05:08 PM

Thought you were quicker the meeting before or did you have gremlins last Sunday?

Get the Alu front and rear braces, ghea pistons and the tresrey servo saver.

anyone changed their server horn?

jamiekerr14 22-02-2011 07:04 PM

Um, bit of both tbh-Had x2 occasions when dumb thumbs came in resulting in popping off ball cups. So that didn't help and didn't get into much of a rhythm tbh and was got into a few tangles on the 1st lap. So by then steve was gone. And was just chasing him and battling with Dan. A good start is crucial, specially in 1/10th too.

I have a alu one Im going to put on it, as somehow stripped the plastic one-a few weeks back.. without even using the car WTF!. So ordered some Hudy one's for my Agama A8. So will replace the cheaper Alu one of that, and onto the rango.

mikeyscott 22-02-2011 08:07 PM

Who next for durango? A bit common now :p

Phil Williams has one too.

simoncrabb 22-02-2011 10:59 PM

The more the better, but I'm biased!

I might have to give my 'R a run this coming Sunday... 4wd seems to be where all the action is!
