Must see tomy gx buggy , lipo 2.4ghz £30 deffo stocking fillers.
Has anyone seen what's prob going to be a Christmas sell out .
Seen it advertised on the box and was in Asda today which have them for £32 ( can get cheaper if you shop about . Basic spec is lipo, 2.4ghz tx and look indestructible . Some vide and specs and I reckon these are gonna be massive and will hopefully convert many to our sport so only a good thing in my eyes. I'm prob going to buy one tomoz for a blast ha ha! |
A few links
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SYD-psTv1lI Looks like someone famous as well he he! Theres some fab vids on YouTube I can't link them properly as I'm on my iPad ! |
I could do with one of those roll bars on my Lazer! These do look pretty cool!
|
Wow they look incredible! That's probably the first decent Micro (as in 1/64 or whatever they are) that i've ever seen! Smashes the old Bit Char-G to pieces put it that way :-)

Awesome little toy - and as you say can only be good for getting youngsters into our hobby.
Well done crazy japanese toy company! :) |
Even Azarashi have made a set of optional bodyshells for them, they are HUGE in Japan apparently....

they look awesome |
Must admit looks tempting, looking around the majority of reviews I've seen are not great. No spares available as far as I can tell which puts me off a fair bit, especially as the bad reviews seems to point to them being more fragile then the vids would have you believe.
|
The fragile thing is more about how you use it i would guess. Will grab one this evening and see how long it takes for me to kill it...

Does someone have a half pipe in their living room there?
|

Have to say i purchased a couple of these about 6 weeks ago!!! They are awesome for racing round the living room.. Steering is all or nothing but they are so nimble nothing stands in there way.
I did buy them for my two boys but had to get one for myself.... If they start making parts for them that would be great!!! |
I have one of these as well.
ignore the advertised range of 10 meters, I have had mine running fine at the other end of a big hall - 30 meters or so. Only thing to watch out for is the rear axle clogging up. Particularly if you run it on carpet. |
I got one too. Its Micro T sized not Charg-Q sized, but IMHO its better than a stock Micro T (I had one of them for a while too) at half the price. The steering is annoying, but the biggest 2 problems are the axles clogging (with dog hair in my house! ) and the fact its needs a slipper as its got way too much power for laminate floors!

is everybody being serious here? or am I missing something....
