The screws holding the shock caps at the mount plate bend pretty easily. I've replaced several pairs.

The bend can be sufficient to have the collar fouling against the plate.

I can't comment on the Xray, but I don't think you can go wrong with either a YZ-2 or a B6.

I personally run a YZ-2 DTM that's had a few bits fitted to bring it more or less inline with a CA...

GT12 started as a budget class, but went nuts fairly quickly. It's now a weird 'not quite but pretty much' version of LMP12.

People will naturally end up running softer motors to compensate, and it would be possible to make tyres last a lot longer.
