So I think the brushed motor didn't like the 5000 mah coming out of that lipo since it melted (the motor not the lipo). I think a 22t pinion was a bit too...

Good point. Actually that's why I'm getting the Novak gtb. Since it handles brushed and brushless motors it allows me to get a 7.5 t later.

Yep the wires are too long. I'm gonna redo the wiring when I put a new speedo in it next week. I chose to get a Novak gtb.
The steering servo is a JR Z550.
