I'm also running the SV2 on dirt and never had that problem.. Just make sure that there's a tight fit where the bodyshell meets the gear cover so no dirt "falls" into the gears as the gearcover...

I'm running the 3800 mAh Xcelorin batterys with a 6.5/7.5 motor in my SX and it works fine. No problem running for 7 minutes as we do that over here in Sweden.

Yep, use them in both the Cougar with the +8mm chassis and the "old" Cat SX.
As we mainly race on dirt I get good weight ratio at the back (Cougar) and can still run a light car.

Have to say that the CR is one of the best cars I've ever raced. Same setup with some minor tweaks for every kind of surface, grass, astro, carpet and gravel.
I haven't had that problem with bad...
