Been unable to attend for ages but been keeping an eye on the results....

Weapon of choice appears to be either a 3.0 or b6.

Are these 3.0s with a laydown kit?

Racing surfaces with buggies in mind.....

I would like to know where carpet sits in relation to grip levels compared to other surfaces - astro, wet astro, cork, wood, clay, dirt....

Can someone please list above surfaces including others...

ESC fans......

Hi.

Currently running a 10.5 turn motor, 23 pinion, 78 spur.

Electronic speed controller (Vampire SR1+) has a removable fan that I'd like to remove for space reasons.

Am I likely to run in...

Receiver mounting position.......

You look at various builds and you don't see the receiver mounted close to the motor.

Is it bad practice to place the receiver close to the motor?
