I can tell you how much it cost. Apart from bits from Mardave, Schumacher and electrics, approximately £15 for some 2.4mm and 3.2mm grp. Not exactly beyond the realms of low cost.

Yes. I believe it is legal in the GT12.1 rules.

As long as your build follows the rules there is nothing stopping you from making car from the ground up... like Schumacher and Mardave...
