Because thinking logically, a wider car will be more stable over bumps/ jumps and should be able to hold more corner speed.

Just done a couple of small mods, the servo being mounted on tape was poor, so I fabricated a couple of alloy minature servo posts. Also when running the hitec red servo saver, it caught the chassis...
