I've only seen HW V2 clones, the Xcar and the blue Chinese copies. They both take HW firmware though and the Xcar seem a much more robust reliable esc than the blue copies.

Mostly, yeah. Ok on more sweeping corners but on hairpins and off the line in the final they just don't have the grip of pins/darts. They're good on the bare floor when it gets cleaned up though.

Shame the B4 isn't old enough to run in vintage but if you're just looking for a rear motor car it's a very good chassis. Maybe a B5 if you can find one but I've not seen many.
