Stu, on our YZ2 more washers is more ackerman, hence its calms the steering, it does matter where the bell cranks pivot from as this determines whether the rack swings towards the front of the car...

I believe its because the 2wd crank pivot point is in front of the rack, where as a 4wd is behind.

Only used my DB2 a couple of times, but last time ran a Durango gear diff with 2k oil, and for me it was a big improvement. This is on what I'd class as a medium grip carpet/wood at Maritime raceway.
