Not that im aware of. So long as the gears are properly shimmed you shouldn't have any trouble. I did strip a front gear but that is because I cracked the front transmission case and I decided to keep racing with it



. My rear transmission is the original is running just fine.
The problem is that the kit only comes with 4 shims so you need to order an extra pack. Personally I use 3 front/rear and that gives a good mesh
