airbrushing again
hey folks, after returning to rc after a few years i decided to spray my own shells again. back then i used masks and tape so after reading all the articles about liquid iv gave it a go , so painted a couple of shells for my tamiya db01 that i will use at my the club. will be painting outdoor shells once iv got my kit sorted. will defo be using liquid for most things in future. have small issues to deal with (like getting my daughter to do better dots for rivet heads ,lol) was using aztec airbrush which isnt that good so looking into that , i used to use top range badger but in uk these are double the price than say the states! i got rid of all my stencils so looking into supplier. already been in touch with jon miller about paint . i have used both faskolor and pactra solvent and found both have advantages so will continue to use both solvent and water based. hopefully i can get my touch back, lol, i have won concours at the much more gp, runner up at hpi worlds , had a shell on display for hpi at german toy fair. also painted for top scottish drivers martin wallace and kevin nicolson .I dont paint shells for folk anymore other than my close mates. will add pics of shells as i get back into it
