Either you have to only do the wheel up enough for it to spin freely without binding, or you need to insert a crush tube between the inner/outer bearings to prevent them binding. I've read on here that using the middle inner 'tube' from an old bearing can be used & is the right length.

I purchased the Team C Alloy 12mm hex set & that fixed the problem without using crush tubes at all.
