Hi,
Last Saturday(29th June), we saw
ROUND 9 of Hinckleys 2013 OffRoad Club Championships!
With another Predicted good Weather Forecast, we saw a very High Turnout of Drivers again............some of which were New faces to the Club, but Well-known to the Regional Circuit! 8)
Our Main OffRoad HRCCC Organiser Mark Stevens had been down there extra Early again, working hard to get the Grass cut ready for another great days Racing! Thanks Mark for being so Dedicted!
With a Decent Team of Enthusiastic Racers, headed by Local Buggy Legend Steve Haskins, a Large Track was Assembled very Quickly, incorporating a Selection of Sweeping corners(Steves Favourite!
), a Fast Chicane & a Diagonal Main Straight followed by a Tight Hairpin............the High-Grip there catching some Drivers out! It also included the usual Straight Table Top Ramp, Corner Table Top Ramp situated at an angle & a couple of small 'Kicker' Jumps!

Due to each Heat being Full, the Racing was very Close & Competitive allday, with some Fantastic Overtaking being seen by many! With the Grip Levels of the Grass changing all the time & catching some Drivers out, it created some very intresting Results after the 4 Rounds of Qualifying!

For the Finals, I think we'd seen some of the Closest Racing ever, with everyone involved having a bid Smile on their Face at the end of the day!
