Same here - from a Futaba FF3 on Spektrum to a 3VCS on FASST the difference is night and day in response times and accuracy. I thought that catching a slide or missing a collision was beyond my natural reactions until I changed over and realised it was beyond my Tx!!
A decent Futaba or Sanwa is a lot of money these days, but if you are serious about your RC and intend to do it for a few years, it is a better investment than anything else. Perhaps the best way in is a used 3VCS with the FASST module and some FRSky TRF4 receivers - check out the For Sale sections for the TX and module.
