I cant comment on the Spektrum , The MT44 is a great transmitter. Lots of functions , looks great and very reliable. Personally I have never had issues with any of my Sanwas nor have I known anyone to have issues.
You also have a great selection of receivers to choose from which are readily available , The antennaless 482 is my go to.
