This is the best gas iron period. They manufacture for Snap-on amongst others and are great value. I have soldered 1/8th ebuggy esc and motors and it can really heat up big lumps of metal.

However the best value bench system is the Corally soldering station 75. Uses Hakko elements and is a great deal: (Disclosure, I am a Corally Team Driver)

For more money, the best soldering iron I have ever used is the PMTech Quick 202D which used to be badged as the LRP soldering station for around 250 but is only 110 here:
