Either a factory made or your own alloy chassis with plastic side pods will be the way to go. Making the side pods the right size to match the length would be cool, but if you're not using your own chassis, making them the stock size to use the chassis included spacers would make it very versatile. Just the side pods, battery strap and needed hardware for a nice price would be really cool to try, I might be tempted. Seems like everything is shorty or saddle pack these days, the new AE car doesn't even take stick packs.
