Absolutley great day's racing - the RC10 felt like it was back in it's element! The dusty dirt reminds me a lot of the loose tracks I used to run that very car on back in California when I was a kid...
I agree that the tyre situation was challenging, but the last time I drove that car on dirt like this the HOT TRICK was Tamiya Holiday Buggy tyres on the stock 1.7 inch 3-piece rims.
(the then-almost-mythical "shumacher cat tyre" also commanded a great deal of respect at the track too - because they were completely unavailable over there. Everyone was SURE that they were the top tyre - if you could find them. Anyway, I tried out a hen's teeth set of 20-year old fullspikes on ancient proline 2.0 inch rims today in round 4. Rubbish. I guess it's better to just hold on to the myth...)
