Currently I can't yet promise a release date, but
the aim is to release it this summer. As soon as a release date is announced, the pre-orders will open too.
As for using less DEX210 parts - it's difficult to do that, I've already made so many things custom for this car!
I'm also aware that Durango's reputation has past its glory days, but the gearbox design has many performance advantages for this car. And surely there must be loads of second hand DEX210s hidden from view, it used to be a pretty popular car but second hand demand for them seems to be low - it's a great source for spares or even donor vehicles.
