Agreed there are different types of grass, also depends how long the grass is to start with, depends what the surface is like under grass, dry/damp and wet are all different tyre conditions and best of all, grass tracks evolve during the day round by round as it wears!

This is proper racing, none of this easy predicatble astro fairy stuff and will certainly sort the men from the boys... those thinking they can bolt one set of tyres on and have one set up for the whole day will be propping up the back of the field for sure

I've heard that glueing blue CAT full spikes individually onto a minispike carcass and then dremelling them bald and smooth is best for long wet grass
