Just did my first race with the BMax 4 III. Had some setup issues during practice and the first 2 heats but slowly improved and managed to get in the a-main (barely
). In the a-finals, I nailed the setup and finished finished 4th overall from last place on the grid so I was really happy ! Car was on rails by then !
In general no big issues but some remarks :
- If you run long camberlinks, the ballcups tended to bend throwing of the camber. I was happy though they never broke. Going to replace them with the excellent RPM items
- The wing support is to low ! The kit wing was rubbing the tyres all the time in the bends. It sounded like a crack in the gears so was worried for a second. Wing supports replaced by YZ2 items. Problem solved
- Every yokomo driver at the track kept telling me theBMax spurs don't last very long. They said it was their main issue with the car. Are there any alternatives ?
