Cockerill, can you shed some light on this please. I tried alot of things.
Now we had two cars on the track, initial setups were close main difference one had saddles and low diff. The other had stick and high diff. One car had 40wt Schumacher oil frt and rear, mine had the high diff, 42.5 Losi rear, 37.5 losi front.
We both agreed, way to much steering either way. So we chased out the steering.
Both cars had foward rear shocks, hubs foward, top of shock inner hole, lower mount stck , 5* rear toe, swapped camber link mount with spacer, no sway bar. 83/20 8.5 sp v3.0 w 2.1 pro, the other was 80/23 sp v3 10.5 w 2.1 pro.
We both tried the rear shocks on the back of the tower. It wasn't helping.
On the front , the steering link ball was moved to the rear hole on the rack. Top of the shock all in, inner arm, arms reverse sweep. 0* castor block, shim on lower for the Steering block.
Tires- fast at the track is BK bar pink rear, taper pin pink front. We could not get that combo to work. So we went to DD's rear, rounders frt, this helped.
I'm waiting for my springs, just picked up a set of 2 & 4 hole pistons. Time to do some experimenting now.
This track is hard packed 90x65
