You may want to consider buying saddle packs as they offer more flexibility and you can also run them in a 4wd later if you decided to run that as well.
I would go with 2 packs at a minimum. 5 is a bit of overkill but would mean you wouldn't need to charge at the track
I have 3 so usually use each pack twice during the day but charge between runs.
Keep an eye on the for sale section as well as you may pick up some bargains there.
