Just remove sensor lead you shouldn't have to adjust any settings on the speedo as it should detect that there's no lead attached and run in sensor less
Mode.
When I was having problems with the hobbywing I looked for all the info I could find and found that it would work with some motors like nosram, lrp, and think reedy and heard Tekin worked with it as well.
But I think with the absima motor it wasn't getting the right signals sent from the speedo to tell it what to do.
