Serpent SRX-2 MM gets my vote, especially if you aren't running in super high grip all the time. Cheaper than most other 2WD kits out there, built like a tank, has stupendous amounts of grip and stability, and most importantly, doesn't need hundreds of pounds worth of hop ups to get it to full team spec like a B5M might. Just under £10 to pick up some Acetal idlers and you're good to go.
