I think that's called unlucky!!


I must admit when I used to travel for the nationals I never left anything on show in my car when I stayed in a B&B or hotel. Even the 12v came in for a top up charge over night when racing for more than a day.

It's like with everything, I guess however careful you try to be, if you are in the wrong place at the wrong time anything can happen.


Anyway back to the main question, my home insurance covers my RC gear under the personal property and specified articles section for items lost, damaged or stolen at home or away from it, it even gives 60 days cover outside the UK. It is restricted to a maximum of £1,500 for any one item, has a fifty pound excess and I believe it added around £20 to my annual household policy.
