For our tracks Bri I wouldn't worry at the moment with most of the tweaks you can do, the car will handle very well out the box with kit setup as everyone here agrees.
Rudebits spine weight is a good idea but I know you could make one easily enough copying the pattern of the plastic part that it replaces in the kit.
Thicker roll bar kit could be a good idea though.
I wouldn't worry about gear diffs straight away, see how you get on with the ball diffs and if you decide you want the car more aggressive then look then. Same with HD chassis and other bits.
Good starting point for club setup wise is 1.6 pistons associated red front springs, 35wt losi oil and 1.7 27.5wt losi rear with kit springs.
