Why not use the yokes and hub carriers from a Cougar? I'm thinking of doing this with a spare CAT SX2 that I have. Schumacher make both plastic and ally versions of them, obviously the stub axles that fit in the hub carriers are ally too. You might need to modify the wishbones a little but it should work. Take a look at the exploded parts diagram of a Cougar KF on the Schumacher website (
