I've been trying a 12D - curved blade to a fine point and cutting edges on outer and inner curve. Really nice using the outer curve following lines and you stand it up when meeting a joint.
If you need accuracy, use the fine point for pinpoint cutting.

But blades are just a tool, and you need to use it with a good technique, practice that, and hopefully develop the skill set.

I've watched loads of vids and pro painters when they're cutting mask, using all kinds of different blades, and I've tried using same blade, the same way they do - still can't do it like them!
