Because the S500 is slim, it comes from a well established company with a long history of winning designs, is backed by the very guy who brought us 'slim' and for the simple reason it's one more competitor for potential customers to choose from.
Sorry, not trying to stir things up - just an observation. Tis excellent times for us racers though, spoilt for choice!
