Not really knowing how the set up of this type of forum works this might be a load of shit. Could you not make the Trade section completely separate in the forum and would only be activated to that certain person after the they had a certain amount of posts? Say, 100?
I know you could run up 100 posts quickly but everyone could see what they are posting and know if the person was genuine or not.
Like I said, that might be total crap but that type of thing may keep the scammers out.
