in very short, as the suspension compresses, the distance between the ball studs increases and decreases. The link stays the same so the conmpression forces the steering spindles to get pulled or pushed.
You need to use spacers under the steering link ball studs in order to dial it out. Unless you want it that is.
in theory bump steer should give you slightly more aggressive steering
