The retailer basically said it was pre-ordered kits.
I don't have anymore info. Contact you LHS if in doubt. I get the feeling that Schumacher is supplying it's retailers before it starts selling them direct. Which makes perfect sense.
Let's say Schumacher make 100 kits and each retailer has pre-ordered 25 and again for an example these are spread across four shops I can see why there will then be a two week lead time in getting more kits ready.
It's all about supply and demand.. Equally Schumacher don't want to make 1000 of them and only sell 200 and have money tied up in stock with the remaining 800.
My bank card has been cloned so I won't be getting one this week anyway now..
One benefit of not getting it straight away is the spares avaliabilty will improve..
