I'd say you're bang on the money, it looks to me like the so called constant radius steering is a schuey way to say the steering is 'reversed'. I.e. The pivot is at the front inside the bulkhead and the rack behind. That'd free some space for the servo in front of the pack, and also will make sure the inner wheel doesn't wobble at full lock. Of course it also totally changes the ackermann so I'm curious to see the car in the flesh.

Looks to me like b4 style wheels, so imperial bearing I. The wheels, but most certainly metric everywhere else.
