The engineer who is currently fitting the system in our new house says its actually better to go for a smaller diameter pipe because these can be lagged very tightly. Suppose everyone will have their own ideas, but lagging would seem a sensible way top go.
Suffice to say we've not gone for a Vissesman this time!
