1st Night new Venue - Thank You

A very big thank you to everyone who made it down and supported our 1st RC ARENA race meeting at our new indoor venue last night (Friday).

I know as few of you like Darren drove a long way, I hope you think it was worth the drive? Next week we will endeavour to start and finish a little earlier so you guys can get going on your way home a little sooner.

We had some very close but very fair racing in all classes of all ages; personally I would like to thank Jamie Armitage for the very sportsman like conduct during our final, even if he did manage to take the B final win away from me a lap later, unfortunately he was just too quick for me!

Mark will be posting a short video on the RC ARENA website in the next day or two, unfortunately due to being the 1st night in a new venue we did not have time to video all the finals, but we will try to next week.

The new Under 14 class was a great success.
Jonathan Warburton took 1st place followed extremely closely (under 2.5 seconds) by Sam in 2nd place. In 3rd place was the considerably younger Oscar with a great drive finishing 3rd in class. Unfortunately young Charlie (only 6 yours old) broke his chassis in the last round of qualifying in a daring move so could not take part in the finals, hopefully he will be back next week once Freddie replaces the chassis on his B4.1.

The new venue although smaller seemed to create a real close club atmosphere and everyone looked like they were enjoying themselves, as we had some great feedback.
