Shock Oil
Can you use normal car oil in shocks? cos I have loads of that

Nope..I'd not recommend that at all... it's totally they wrong type of oil. Could even possibly dissolve you're shock parts...and you have no way to tune it really...

Cool, looks like I will have to get some proper stuff, what do you recommend? need to fill at least 8 bigbores possibly 10.

30 and 35 wt silicon shock oil. Either Losi or Associated brand

I'd suggest Losi, Schuy or Ansmann Shock oil as you get a fair amount of oil for the price. I use mainly Schumacher oils... Losi is cool as it's coloured

schumacher oil tends to come up a bit thinner than other brands for the same weight. 35 schumacher is similar to 30 losi
