Missed a couple of weeks so.... Whats happening? Why the tyre questions? Has the carpet been replaced with Dirt?

I think it's going to be replaced with astro but I'm not sure when, perhaps Matt could shed some light?

I might not be Matt but I can shed some light . Yes, the plan is that the carpet will be replaced with astro, but unfortunately not this week. We will of course let you know in advance when we are able to secure some, so you'll have time to get some new tyres.

Hi all,

We will still be running on carpet this week for sure, however the other plans from the recent AGM will still be starting tonight. To be honest the astro people haven't been very helpful regarding a previously arranged price so didn't want to send the chaps on the long journey on Saturday. We hope to come to a new agreement this week so I'll keep you posted or just come see us tonight and ask away as usual.

New race fee:
£10 non-members
£7 member

Membership:
£30 (those who race weekly will save approx £126)

Once the astro is ready for use we will then let you know our plans for the cheaper tyres and club series.

Our club has been struggling for months now (week nights) making between £20-£30 per week which isn't good enough to be honest. The price increase is to simply help the club survive and grow not because on an increase in rent. We have in fact managed to agree a slight decrease in rent as the land lord wanted to show how keen he is for us to stay at our fantastic facility.

Sounds great, if we want the club to succeed we need to ensure its actually funded so it can continue..

If the club stopped running I for one would be absolutely gutted, so we all need to ensure it doesn't. If that means paying a tiny annual membership I am sure everyone involved with the club will be all for it.

Hi guys

Just a reminder that the doors open @ 17:00, so if anyone's free to help build the track that would great.

Track will be down by 18:00 (earlier if more hands available).
Practice will start once the track is laid.
Booking in between 18:30 and 19:00.
Heat 1 on the line at 19:10.

We are going to try and stick to these times every week now, so everyone gets a good amount of track time and we are all packed up in time to be out the hall by 22:00 (assuming they don't lock the gates on us again!).

As its Easter this week, everyone who books in gets an Easter treat .

Thanks to new membership secretary Colin Buck for doing a grand job and his mate Lewis for getting all the carpet out before 17.00!!!!
