Are all three classes spread over all three days?

That is the plan. We are currently finalising all the details for the 3 days. Will notify when this has been completed.

Sounds an awesome event. Is the £30 just for entry, or are a set of tyres supplied?

This is a provisional format that I read.

Format...
Friday - 2wd Practise + 2wd Qualifying
Saturday - 2wd Qualifying and Finals. 4wd/SC Practise and Qualifying
Sunday - 4wd/SC Qualifying + Finals

Don't know if it's been finalised.

Thanks guys; look forward to final details.

For me separate classes each day is preferable, especially if only entering one class. Hotel nights etc.

Whatever happens it'll be a great event I'm sure.

Will the GP move around in future or is this a permanent home now?

The format looks good.
Better to have each class over a 2 day period rather than spread over all 3 days.

I believe they have done this format to generate maximum exposure to the public.

Lots of people finish work at lunchtime on a Friday so things need to be happening on Friday afternoon to generate interest.

You want the main finals to be running around lunchtime on the Saturday as that is when most people are around in shopping centres, you want the main event to happen in front of as many people as you can to (hopefully) attract new people to the sport.

Sunday is similar to Saturdays, most activity being around lunchtime / early afternoon.

I think they have got the format spot on for public exposure (why it's in a public place after all), from a pure racing perspective I'd prefer a single class per day too but hey, it's all about the show
