I dunno if i was being an idiot, i wasnt aware that i was bothering anyone as it was just in a group of about 4 or 5 people, i didnt go out my way to harm or annoy any of the other racers or anything. Or maybe im expecting way to much tolerance from todays society?

I really didnt make this thread to put people off the club, or degrogetise the club in anyway, i would just like to make that clear. The point of this thread was to outline my situation to the public and as an open, public apology to what i have done.

I really feel for you josh, i would be gutted too and knowing you i know that if you thought anything would happen then you would not have even got it out.

I am not sure how the Brca works in terms of banning people but i would have thought that no one person can ban you, i would assume it would go to a committee vote or something. (I may be wrong)

With regards to the club, i know you have been a member for a while and im sure they know you better than i do, which is why i feel you were very harshly treated. Surely they could have given you a bollocking and maybe even banned you but i dont feel there was any need to involve the brca in any way, what were they trying to achieve by that?

Also there must be some way to appeal, now that everyone has had time to cool down and the dust has settled.

I have seen people do worse at racing and punishments have been less severe

Totally agree Chris, i was going to be doing some club nights there over the winter. Right now i think i`d rather drive 3 hours to kiddy get pee`d on all day in freezing wind and rain and then drive home again cold and wet.

Well, there is York on Saturday nights and Worksop on Sundays, that is what I am aiming to do over the winter. I 'might' do regionals, but ideally id like to only race where I can run Lipo from September onwards. Will see.

All this with TRCC is a shame. Although it should not have come to this, you are right to apologise Josh as afterall, you do want to continue racing there. I hope all this blows over for you. Perhaps write an apologetic letter to the club chairman?

Hmmmm when I was about the same age, racing 10th buggies, me and a mate went along to a 12th circuit club to watch a couple of other mates racing, to see if we would like to try that scale too.

We hid other mates moped under a tarpaulin to pretend it had been stolen (didn't even move the moped an inch as it happens, we were a bit lazy) and we got banned from the club before we had even joined.... I guess some people have sense of humour failures, wheras others never had one to fail in first place... Chin up!

I think it will hurt the club a lot more than it has hurt you josh, yes your banned but you will more than likely get your license back, but as Chris said people will be put off going to TRCC because of this. (i know we dont all carry guns) but racers want somewhere relaxed and fun for a club night and not somewhere where people jump in at the deep end. There are other clubs dude and im sure once you get your card back you will go to one of the other local clubs and im sure they will welcome you with open arms. One clubs loss is anothers gain

Ah yes, but will they? I hope that the people who know me dont have there opinions changed but people who dont know me and are getting there first opinion of me through this thread, will they want someone who has been banned from another club? im not so sure yet.

Or i could open my own club, i have been thinking about that one alot lately.......
