Checking ball diff on KF2
Hi,
Is it possible to test the ball diff tightness by checking it through the traditional way on the KF an KF2? This is by holding the 2 rear wheels in place and then blip the throttle to see how far the nose rise up? I tried it once before and it killed the spur. Thanks! |

The best way of doing it is to hold the LH wheel and spur in one hand and try and rotate the RH wheel with your other hand. then look to see if the belt is moving (belt moving = diff is tighter than the slipper).
Hope this makes sense? James. Quote:

I do the same method as hazeandfizz. The slipper should slip before the diff, you'll kill the diff if the diff slips before the slipper.
