Thats not really the case, GB Drivers are all very quick with 4WD's too, was just so close with times this year, very quick track

Tebo didn't even make A which is a shock!

Well done to Hartson and AE.. Shame the racing was spoilt by mid-air collisions ,you would think that they would know, at that level , that you can't steer a car in the air.. or maybe the big jumps are to blame..!

Naoto, good on him for pulling over. I know others that wouldn't and leave that to the officials to decide! Just awesome respect!!

Fantastic finals, A3 is manic! Gutting for Naoto after all that work to get to 2nd, but a proper sportsman letting him go.

Here they are:

A1 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fmvf8-iK3Og

A2 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=weKAqtx6sxg

A3 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AsX2AxNCUYw

Good win for Neil in the B Main also. Well done to the other Brits, inc Ben Jem for 5th in E, one behind the 2wd world champ, Tebo.

I could watch that 3rd leg all day. Good commentary too. Good stuff!

Cav took two people out in three finals, plus throws his radio when he looses. Which bit did you mean?

Always an interesting event, the Worlds - it has been fun following it!

Just a note I want to make though: I think one of the goals in these events is close racing - Things were close, but I feel on this track the drivers were fighting the grip roll first (amongst other challenging features of the track), the other drivers second.

Lower speeds/grip levels are more inviting for drivers to make a daring move if you ask me (Click and go to 1:26) - the consequences of taking a wrong line or even contact between cars is less dramatic (Click and go to 3:48). Also, cars will be visually closer to each other, making the race easier to oversee and more spectacular for spectators.

I hope to see a lower bite track like the one in Finland again in 2015

You can't blame Naoto for going for it. It was the last lap of the Worlds decider!!!

Great racing but I felt the track let the racing down a bit.

As for the two top Americans, I think the both of them can be a bit nasty on the track. Maifield especially.

Every time I watch a finals video from 2011 I can't help but compare the fantastic intimacy of the venue and the size of the spectator crowd versus the barren venue appearance and sparsely populated grandstand of this year's Worlds.
