Default DETC front diff (advice)

Hi guys just got the DETC and i`m really impressed. has anyone put a front diff in yet our indoor carpet track is very tight and a spool just tends to wash wide. looking to swap out the spool for a front gear diff. is it ok to run the kit ali driveshafts into steel out drives or would this need to be changed to the steel driveshafts.

Aluminum dogbones with the steel outdrives seems fine, many run this as the v1 outdrives were junk. Trying like 500k oil in the front diff might help and try other stuff to get the on power steering, thicker rear diff may help
