Default Holiday advice require - Egypt

Really fancy a holiday in Egypt, 1st can anyone adivse a cheap place to book, looked at Teletext.co.uk whom seem the cheapest at the moment, also can anyone suggest a good place and hotel to stay, been looking on Trip advisor but a very mixed bag on there!
Looking at going around the 12th July, 2 adult and 2 kids 12&15

Thanks for any input!

Sharm 2010

What ever you do, do not go to the Gardinia Plaza FFS.... Worst Hotel I've ever been full of pikey russians with the worst attitude known to man.

The Three Corners Palmyre is pretty good (moved there when we stuck with the ash cloud from Gardinia Plaza this year).

The locals will rip you off left right and centre also with uber high sell pressure gets on your tits abit.

It will be rediculasly hot in july 40+ might even see 50 will fry your kids BBQ style

I think the NHS are not doing free jabs anymore, So i'd look into that aswell, A colleaugue has just spent more on the jabs than the holiday itself!

If you go to sharm get good insurance as we got stung £760 for a doctor to look at my lads ankle (fell into pool messing about), couple of xrays and a bandige (sprained playing next day again) cha ching £760 please.

Got most back but had to pay out before we could leave hotel and claim once returned after we got stuck there a further 7 days because of ash cloud that cost us another grand which as yet aint seen a penny back for DOH!!

It is a beautiful climate though but not in summer, way too hot for most.
