Default core rc 13.5 set need help please.

Hi all I'm new to supastox racing I have bought the core rc package with with the battery ESC and 13.5 motor
I'm having problems I have got the standard 46 spur that came with the kit mated up with a 32dp 15 tooth pinion. I must admit it does not feel a great mesh it feels a bit notchy no matter how close or far away it is.

How ever my main problem is the motor has no power it will spin when it's not on the spur but will not move the car when it's meshed up if I push the car it does move but then stops its as if its over geared.
So I removed the spur and set the motor away the pinion still attached to the motor I can hold the pinion and stop the motor from turning extremely easy even if I just press against the pinion slightly the motor stops as if under to to much load.
Is this normal because I have never had experience with a 1 cell lipo set up before or is the motor dodgy

Thanks in advance
David

i have a few questions.
1: is the a b c wire connected and soldered on correcltly? is the battery full. For the sss you want as a base start 18 - 46. Running 15 - 40 is pretty heavy.

2: Whar is the esc settings at?

When you plug in your wires into you lipo does the motor go without you touching the stick or trigger, if so you'll need to move down the small lever on your handset NEXT to you throttle stick, this should find the neutral, next get rid off the 32dp spurs and pinions crap meshing, need 48dp, hope this helps,

Ps is you lipo fully charged

The motor wires seem to be in the correct place yes lipo is fully charged the ESC is mounted to the left of the Devon as in the instructions book.
The controls on the car all seen fine ie. trims etc.
The default ESC settings are cut off 3volts, run mode farward with pause reverse, motor timing blinky, initial acceleration high,60% reverse, braking 50%,0 drag brake, motor rotation normal, neutral range 4%

I have not altered any settings
Does it come set for 3.7 lipo

Thanks guys so far..
